In the two-day meeting in Doha, no representatives of Afghans and Taliban were present, but it is said that on the sidelines of this meeting, talks were also held with some different institutions belonging to Afghans.

In reaction to this meeting, Sohail Shahin, the representative nominated by the Taliban for the seat of the United Nations, called holding such meetings without the presence of the Taliban as ineffective.
